Water Ridge Dual Toilet from Costco

With an extended bowl and a flush valve, it’s a two-piece design. There are two flushes available: 1.2 and 1.6 gallons. One-piece toilets have a good ADA height of 18 inches at the rim. A braided hose, floor bolts, and wax ring are also included. A five-year warranty is included.

Everything you will need to install this product will be included in the packaging, except the toilet tools. The setup appears basic and straightforward. At first, you might seem unsure about carrying out the installation yourself because you paid quite a sum for it. You don’t have to worry as it also comes with a manual. All you need to do is follow the manual adequately, and you’ll be fine!

Reliability

On the other hand, Costco is known for its low costs and high-quality merchandise. As a result, this shouldn’t be a major worry. They’re also well-known for their client service. Required Maintenance

Maintenance isn’t complicated. Ensure the seat height is appropriate; a standard height is 12 inches. You can also go up to 19 inches in height. It would be beneficial if you also considered the bowl form. The elongated bowl is more pleasant to sit on than the round bowl, which takes up less room.

The inside of the bowls has a unique coating that prevents waste from clinging to them. One-piece designs are more expensive than two-piece designs because they do not have a separate tank. Check to see if your water supply line is braided and flexible stainless steel. Checking out these components regularly makes the Water Ridge toilet last longer.

Installation

How can one run a Costco Water Ridge Toilet installation effectively? You can simply follow the stepwise procedure below:

Step 1

  • Turn off the main water supply to the tank from behind it.
  • Remove the lid from the tank

Step 2

Hold the water ridge toilet flush valve button firmly in the fully open position to drain the water within the tank.

Step 3

Remove the toilet flush valve overflow tube’s refill tube.

Step 4

Remove the existing flush valve from the system. Unclip the valve body from the toilet base by rotating it counterclockwise and lifting it off and up. (when moved, the device keeps water on the inside and may spill)

Step 5

To remove the flush valve base from the tank, loosen the retaining clip carefully at the bottom of the toilet base using the screwdriver.

Step 6

Slide the base and clip forward after loosening the base clip, giving the clip good clearance behind.

(Be careful not to overtighten the retaining ridge screw, or the clip will fall into the toilet trap.)

Common Issues

One problem with these toilets is that they may not properly dispose of waste. The waste is pushed forward in pressure-assisted toilets by the water pressure, which compresses the air.

Where to Buy

One thing to remember when shopping for water ridge toilets is that the cost does not always correspond to the water ridge toilet quality, and Water ridge toilets that are more expensive do not necessarily last longer.

In addition, good water Ridge toilets are attractive and conserve water. A good water ridge toilet should be dependable and survive for a minimum of ten years, especially in large families. You don’t want to have to replace your water ridge toilet yearly or so. The right Water ridge toilets allow you to flush without issues, as long as you maintain them well.
