Blueridge Mini-Split Ac System is manufactured by Midea, one of the leading companies of home appliances, such as ac units, dishwashers, dryers, refrigerators, ac units, and washers based in China.
Blueridge Mini Split is a ductless AC system comprised of two main parts, the heat pump (for cooling and heating models) or condenser (the outside part for cooling models), and the air handler, also known as the inside part that is mounted on the outside wall.
It is categorized into five zones, which are referred to as each air handler available for the mini-split systems. The number of zones may vary, depending on the model. Installation
The first thing you need to do is remove the wall bracket from the back of the mini-split indoor air handler, hold the bracket in place, make sure it is horizontally level, and then mark the screw holes with a pencil.
Next is to drill the hole to create a pilot hole and put screws with anchors to fix the mounting frame to the wall. Remember the location to mount the ac system should be free of obstructions near the air inlet and outlet and at least six feet from the floor.
After mounting the ac system, you can now make the multi-conductor wire connections. Do this by running the line sets, electrical wires, and drain line from the indoor unit to the outdoor unit.
You can do almost all of the installation process yourself but the last 10% of the process must be completed by a professional to achieve maximum performance of the AC system. The Alpine Home Air will provide a professional contractor to finish the installation and inspect the system after.
Care and Maintenance
Before cleaning, make sure to turn off the power and disconnect the unit from the power source because it can cause electric shock. Remember to never spray water on both the indoor and outdoor units because it will result in unit failure or damage.
To clean the indoor and outdoor unit along with the air filter, coil, and other components, you can use a clean, damp soft cloth and a mild cleanser. Only use water below 113°F (45°C) when cleaning the panel because it may cause damage to the surface or discoloration.
Tune-up, inspection, and cleaning of the AC system must be done at least once a year to ensure the maximum performance of the unit. It will also help prevent unit failure or damages from worsening if left unchecked.
Blueridge Ductless Mini-split offers a Limited Warranty with coverage of five years for all parts and eight years for the compressor, which begins seven days after the shipment date.
The warranty will be terminated if the unit is removed or transferred from the original location it was installed. It also does not cover labor charges, lodging, or repair costs for the unit.
